A showcase Soviet jet stored in an alley in the Cold War strategic center of Priozersk, Kazakhstan. Situated on the western end of Lake Balkash, the town was an anti-ballistic missile testing center and as such, closed to the world as a secret base. Today, the town and surrounding area has an eerie Twilight Zone feel as many of the Soviet military structures have been destroyed in post-independence looting.
