AMPt Project: still life lounge
Photo submitted by @mongon
On a recent trip to Copenhagen, Denmark, following a visit to the Tivoli Gardens, a three dimensional photo opportunity presented itself. I came upon an intriguing image of a tiger practically emerging from a mural painted on the side of a concrete wall, intent on devouring the real bicycle abandoned in its path.
I utilized my iPhone’s native camera for this one, then imported into the ever-versatile Snapseed to straighten, following the lines along the top of the street mural. I then imported this image into Camera+ and used the Clarity feature to sharpen the mural. If you have yet to use the Clarity feature in this program, you’ve been missing out! It will uncover amazing details in your photos and improve the lighting in the darkest of images. It doesn’t work on all images, but when it does, it’s magic. I then used its Crop tool and saved. I left the image colors alone--I’m more of a black and white/sepia person normally, but I couldn’t stand to hide the colors on this one.
