I've never had a dream about Jerusalem, but in this void in my mind of what I'd see and feel, was a vague familiarity once my feet were dusty in my sandals, skin beaten from the intensity of the sun and heart swollen from the emotions I couldn't hold back. I tread a land where King David danced. I passed through stone archways over 2,000 years old. I prayed next to women pouring out their heart and soul at the Kotel and I couldn't help but drown in gratitude.
