Story time: Hip Hop Internationals. I remember my first time I flew myself out of Texas. It was for the 2005 HHI. I remember being a nobody, a dreamer. Seeing my idols on stage was a dream come true. I remember pleading to Howard Shwartz(creator) to give me a wrist band to watch the world competition too. Ever since then I have never missed an HHI. Now it's 2012 and my face is on the workshop banner that also has a picture of my student since she was 9. I have a VIP lanyard with my name on it. Dreams really do come true. Worked my ass off to get where I'm at now. Didn't step on anyone or used anyone to get here. May not be a big deal but it is for me. This is the place where it all began for me.
