The @elephantskates Jersey Devil is what I consider a hybrid board: It has some shape yet still looks, feels and operates like a modern popsicle-stick skateboard. It’s the best of both worlds. Featuring a killer graphic by Tim Clark, the Jersey Devil board is inspired in name and graphic by legendary New Jersey pro skater, Tom Groholski. Tom earned the nickname “The Jersey Devil” in the 80′s as New Jersey’s elite vertical rider and he had a cartoon interpretation of the mythical “Jersey Devil” on his first pro-model board from Vision Skateboards (circa ’85). By design this board will get you there and back and is also easily manipulatable for all of today’s modern flatland tricks. Paying homage to one of my earliest skateboarding influences and one of my all-time skate heroes Tom Groholski… This is the Jersey Devil.
